David Price is a Dean College allumni. He attended the college's 150th commencement together with some friends from his class of 1965-66 and took the opportunity to document the occasion using photos and videos and combining them in a brief, 8-minute slideshow using FotoMagico 5.

When Vancouver-based Jack Pickell retired after 45+ years in the business world, he was relieved to find that he had plenty of time to pursue his passion – photography. Pursuing this hobby for the past 15 years has only enhanced his keen eye for naturally beautiful landscapes. He now showcases all of his beautiful work using FotoMagico.

At 85 years old, Ray Thompson is the only remaining founding member of Apple Corps of Dallas, the oldest Mac Users Group in the U.S. He serves as the co-chair of the VisionsSIG, where members are encouraged to become involved with photography, videos and graphics. Among his group, Ray is the FotoMagico guru and loves teaching others to use and enjoy the app. He even started a public Facebook group, FotoMagico Fans, which has over 150 members!

FotoMagico is going into real estate! Well, sort of, if you count Rose Broyles Real Estate’s awesome FotoMagico slideshow of a neighborhood tour. The slideshow, which shows a San Diego home, was an easy way for Rose to show off every angle of the house and its neighborhood in a different way.

John recently joined two fellow ADEs at the SXSWedu for the "Visual Literacy Bootcamp". He turned videos and photos from this trip into the "Memories of Texas" using Final Cut Pro X and FotoMagico. Produced at locations in Austin, the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center and San Antonio, most of the material was shot using an iPhone 6.

Tomorrow Youth Rep rented a beautifully restored movie theater for a musical production of “The Phantom Tollbooth,” but the movie screen that was used instead of a proper stage presented a challenge for Dan Wood. After some thought, he turned to the idea of virtual sets, where he could project still images and moving videos on the screen behind the actors. Thanks to his friends at Boinx, Dan settled on FotoMagico to do the job. “It turns out that FotoMagico was exactly the tool that I needed. I had always known it was useful for presenting slides, but I discovered that its video capabilities were amazing as well,” says Dan.

MacFan.nl editor Albert Zeeman made this beautiful FotoMagico slide show of a guided tour in Rotterdam harbor for a Canon Nederland press event. Photos were shot on a Canon GX1.

Pierre Vermersch, a retired psychologist of scientific research, decided to try his hand at creating a slideshow with FotoMagico. The result? He came up with this beautiful video, entitled “Genèse d'un trésor,” the genesis of a mandala.

We admire filmmaker John M. Woody for his great videos and his teaching of video production. Before he retired as an Apple Distinguished Educator and professor at the School of Media Arts & Design at James Madison University, he taught hundreds of students about how to best use FotoMagico in film production. When Odd-Inge Teige, Nordic Light's Director of Video, says: "We are using BoinxTV, of course" what he means is, that there is no alternative for quickly and efficiently recording talks and presentations at events like the Nordic Lights Festival of Photography 2013 in Kristiansund, Norway. Filmed on iPhone 5 and edited with FotoMagico.

On April 15th, 2013, the Boinx Team prepared to launch a commercial rocket with supplies for the International Space Station. Watch the events unfold... The video was shot using iPhone 5, a Nikon D5100 and a Canon 40D. Editing was done completely in FotoMagico 4.

A cool montage of digital images captured at the 2011 Monterey Blues Festival. "FotoMagico is solid performer allowing me to creatively control many nuances of movement. The option allowing some image adjustments (saturation, etc.) in FotoMagico is a powerful feature," John writes. "The images were initially shot on a Canon 20D DSLR and post-processed using Digital Photo Professional and Adobe Photoshop."

Flinders Ranges is the largest mountain range in South Australia – so large that only FotoMagico’s pan and zoom effect could begin to encompass it’s magnificence. Melbourne, Australia resident Barry Povey went to the Flinders Ranges to explore the beauty around him and created a slideshow with FotoMagico 4 to put the ranges on display for all to see. He even incorporates stunning paintings of his surroundings into the slideshow for a truly surreal effect.
